We at Laxman Gyanpith School believe that sports is an integral part of students’ lives and it helps in keeping them mentally and physically fit. The presence of sports drives an individual to be passionate and keeps them encouraged along with enhancing their perseverance and determination.
Thus, we are committed to providing our students with the best sports facilities. We feel honored to mention that our school was named one of the best schools in Gujarat during Khel Mahakumbh.
This sport is an essential practice for students to strengthen their self-development ability. It is taught during the sports period and a few of our students also master this sport and later go on to represent in the district and state-level tournaments.
Our campus has excellent facilities for football players. The facilities include a well-built football pitch along with special training areas and certified sports trainers.
Additionally, we have two football teams in the categories of under-14 and under-17 boys. Apart from this, our teams have won district-level championships and have also received a bronze medal at state-level competitions.
Our sports amenities include a well-maintained horse riding arena and strong, trained horses. A team of experienced jockeys trains the interested students with utmost diligence and care.
Further, the pre-primary and primary school students are often taken on carriage rides during school time.
Athletics include 21 types of activities such as running, sphere, longevity, etc. Few of our students have participated and won at district and taluka level competitions.
Our campus has professional archery ranges where students can practice archery. Several students from our school have won gold and silver medals at district-level and state-level competitions.
