Socio-Cultural

We aspire to enable our students to grow into ideal citizens who are aware of their moral virtues and cultural values. To achieve the same, our team organizes several socio-cultural activities that are fun for the students to attend as well as help them understand our moral and cultural values better. Examples of such activities include – ‘Sanparksetu Abhiyan’ wherein students and teachers visit rural areas and interact with the communities by motivating them by performing skits, plays, and musical recitations. Students also collect their old bags, clothes, shoes, books, etc, and donate the same to underprivileged people.

Festivals at LGS are celebrated in unique styles on Gandhi Jayanti the students participate in cleaning programs in the school and its surrounding areas. On Raksha Bandhan, girls from school go to the nearby police stations, army camps, orphanages, and old-age homes to tie rakhis. Apart from that, before the board examinations, our teachers put in extra effort to visit the houses of students and interact with their families to reduce their stress and wish them luck.

All these initiatives help in increasing the bond between the students and teachers and in instilling the values of empathy, compassion, sharing, and gratitude among the students. Such events keep the children motivated and also enhance their awareness of the social issues prevalent in society.
